Affiliated group member: Simon Provoost
Simon Provoost will join the Behavioural Informatics group as an affiliated member. Simon does his PhD at the VU's Clinical Psychology Section, under supervision of Prof. Heleen Riper and Dr. Jeroen Ruwaard. His research is located in the intersection of eMental-Health and Virtual Agents. Because of the latter, he will be co-supervised by Tibor Bosse, and will join our group's activities from time to time. Welcome, Simon!
Symposium on Behavioural Informatics
On February 29th, the Computer Science Department of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam will host a symposium on Behavioural Informatics. The research area of Behavioural Informatics studies the design, implementation, and evaluation of intelligent computational systems that analyze, simulate and influence human behaviour. The symposium will be centered around two events, namely 1) the name change of the Agent Systems Research group at the VU to Behavioural Informatics group, and 2) the PhD Ceremony of Jeroen de Man.
